Daniel Beaty

Well-known for his Obie Award-winning, single Off-Broadway show Crisis, Beaty can be known for another one-man play, During the night, which earned a 2010 NAACP Movie theater Award. He also proved helpful, at various factors in his profession, being a spoken-word musician, composer, and opera vocalist. After graduating from Yale School with an honors level in Music and British, he received a Professional of Great Arts level in Performing from San Francisco’s American Conservatory Movie theater. In 2008, he and musician Daniel Bernard Roumain collaborated over the composition of the orchestral piece entitled Darwin’s Deep breathing for the Folks of Lincoln.
