Important modernist landscape architect who designed a lot more than 1,000 spaces, included in this the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston. He became thinking about the look of golf classes and began reading books on landscaping design after caddying on weekends. He’d go on to create the Miller Home and Backyard in Columbus, Indiana. He earned the 1947 Jefferson Country wide Enlargement Memorial Competition alongside fellow architect Eero Saarinen. It ultimately became the St. Louis Arch. He was raised within the Roxbury Highlands portion of Boston, Massachusetts. He went to Harvard with such upcoming notables as Garrett Eckbo and Adam C. Rose. He contributed to the look of I. M. Pei’s East Building on the Country wide Gallery of Artwork in Washington.
