Dan Jansen

Biography

American speed skater who earned the 1994 Olympic precious metal in the 1,000 meters following many personal and career losses. His sister, Jane, a swiftness skater, released him to the activity. He found that his sister got passed away of leukemia quickly before he was established to compete within a 1988 Wintertime Olympics competition; regardless of this, he still continued and was presented with the U.S. Olympic Nature Prize for his courage. He wedded Karen Palacios in 2000. He and Bonnie Blair both became world-famous American swiftness skaters.
