Dan Buettner


Writer and educator who have founded Blue Areas, an organization which seeks to increase life span by optimizing one’s health insurance and environment. He’s the writer of books like Africatrek: A Trip by Bike through Africa, which spawned an Emmy-winning documentary from the same name. He graduated from the faculty of St. Thomas in 1984. He provides established multiple Guinness Globe Information for transcontinental bicycling since the middle-80’s. He’s among four brothers. He arranged a fund-raising croquet competition with journalis George Plimpton.
