Cynthia Lennon


The first wife of famous Beatle John Lennon, she received very much attention in the 1960s. In 1978, she released A Twist of Lennon, a memoir describing her existence both before and after her relationship towards the “Imagine” vocalist. She went to the Liverpool University of Artwork. In 1962, she fulfilled John Lennon, and both were wedded within a couple of months. In 1968, she found out both John Lennon’s affair with Yoko Ono and Ono’s being pregnant. At this time, her six 12 months relationship to Lennon finished in divorce. She experienced a son called Julian with vocalist John Lennon. Between 1970 and 2002, she was wedded three more occasions: to Roberto Bassanini, John Twist, and Noel Charles. She actually is the mom of musician Julian Lennon .

8 Made friends with May Pang, who lived with John during his mid-70s separation from Yoko Ono, and appreciated May's efforts to get John to spend more time with son Julian. Stayed at May's apartment when she visited New York, in the early 1980s.
9 Hosted a TV talk-show in Britain in the mid-1980s; among her first guests was her son Julian, in a surprise planned by the producers. Cynthia remarked later that the interview was the first real conversation they'd ever had, as people.
10 Was the only Beatle wife to have her own fan club in the Sixties; was grateful to one group of fans who identified her for a security guard, when she'd forgotten her ID and he refused to let her back into the Beatles' hotel suite.
