R&B vocalist known for his period with THE PRIMARY Ingredient, which is well known for the music “Everybody Has the Fool,” “Just Don’t Desire to be Lonely,” and “Pleasure is Just Throughout the Flex.” He became a member of THE PRIMARY Ingredient in 1971 following the untimely loss of life of Donald McPherson still left the band looking for a vocalist. He made an appearance on Soul Teach many times in the 1970s and was also highlighted in advertisements for brands like Pepsi. He and his wife Shirley acquired four kids, Cuba Jr., Omar, Apr, and Tommy. He was called Cuba as the consequence of a guarantee from his dad to his mom, who fulfilled in Cuba, after she was murdered on her behalf support of Marcus Garvey.
