Cordell Jackson

Among the initial female rock and roll songwriters and music suppliers who also founded Moon Information, a label that ran until 2004. Despite admonitions from her close friends that girls cannot play acoustic guitar, she was raised learning the device, along with the harmonica, mandolin, and banjo. She released one single album during the period of her profession, Cordell Jackson – Reside in Chicago. She was raised in Pontotoc, Mississippi. Her dad was a violinist using the music group, the Pontotoc Ridge Joggers, with whom she occasionally played. She made an appearance on NIGHT TIME with David Letterman in 1991 and 1992.
