Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist who gained fame in the 80’s and 80’s with singles like “Rikers Isle,” “Small Enthusiast” and “Jah Made Them That Method.” He founded his personal label, Roaring Lion, in 2000. He was created in Rocky Stage, Clarendon, Jamaica and released his 1st recording, Weh Dem A CHANCE Do…Can’t End Cocoa Tea, in 1984. He began the annual New Year’s Eve event Dancehall Jam Jam in 2003. His delivery name is usually Calvin George Scott. He documented a song known as “Barack Obama” to get the near future U.S. president’s 2008 presidential marketing campaign.
