Known for his function in neuro-scientific solid-state chemistry, he received several medical awards, like the Marlow Medal, the Hughes Medal, as well as the August-Wilhelm-von-Hofmann Medal. After making his undergraduate level from Mysore University or college, he came into a graduate system in chemistry at Banaras Hindu University or college and, in the early age of twenty-four, received his PhD in his selected field. During the period of his profession, he published more than a thousand medical documents and received honorary levels from a large number of colleges. As an just child developing up within an Indian Kannada family members, he was home-schooled by his well-educated parents. In 1960, he wedded Indumati Rao, with whom he elevated a child and a child. He and Prafulla Chandra Ray had been both prominent Indian chemists.
