Prolific Central American poet whose best-known works include Tierra de Infancia and Cancion Redonda. Many of her choices, including About the Angel & Guy and Of an excellent Dawn, received Salvadoran nationwide literary honours. She researched in her teenager years in the Colegio La Asuncion de Santa Ana. She released her debut poetry collection, Estrellas en un Pozo, in 1934. She released a lot more than twelve books of poetry and one memoir during the period of her profession. She was once romantically associated with Nicaraguan poet Salomon de la Selva. She and Maggie Estep had been both prolific poets.
