Clarence Nash

Provided the tone of voice of Disney’s Donald Duck for over 50 years. He was a favorite impressionist on Los Angels’s KHU radio train station, and his skill for voices got him a promotion gig using the Adohr Dairy Clompany. Walt Disney himself asked him to supply a tone of voice for his speaking duck in upcoming cartoon short, “The Smart Small Hen.” He was raised in Watonga, Oklahoma. He also offered the early tone of voice William Hanna and Joseph Barbara’s cartoon kitty, Tom, in Tom and Jerry.
