Swedish-American pop art sculptor known for his large-scale functions using everyday items as well as for his general public art installations. He went to Yale College or university and THE INSTITUTION of the Artwork Institute of Chicago. He received the Country wide Medal of Arts in 2000. He shaped a romantic relationship with sculptor Hannah Wilke in 1969, and later on married Coosje vehicle Bruggen in 1977. He understood Jim Dine, who was simply known for the efficiency art Happenings.
