Biography

American screenwriter and director who spent some time working on various movies including The Primary in 1987 and Eliminated Fishin’ in 1997. His initial film was 6th and Primary, which he composed, directed, and created. He directed the tv screen movie Tires of Terror in 1990. He wedded Sarah Thomas in 1969 and followed her two sons. In addition they had a little girl together. He’s the stepfather of professional Dean Cain.

1Chris Cain attended the second annual HatcH audiovisual festival in Bozeman, Montana, in October 2005. HatcH is a film and arts festival, the mission of which is to provide mentorship, education, inspiration, and recognition to the next generation of creative innovators. Chris was there with his stepson Dean Cain, whose new independent movie Lost (2004) was spotlighted at the festival. Chris Cain has attended every HatcH festival to date, and was recently awarded the prestigious first annual HatcH Mentorship Award, presented by Huntley Ritter and Scott Duthie in October 2006.
