Chris Clark

American soul singer known on her behalf sultry vocal performances about hit singles like Love’s Eliminated Bad. She was created in Santa Cruz, California and released her debut recording, Soul Seems, in 1967. She received an Academy Honor nomination for co-writing the screenplay for the 1972 film Woman Sings the Blues. She was wedded to novelist and screenwriter Ernest Tidyman from 1982 until his loss of life in 1984. Her performing has frequently been in comparison to that of Dusty Springfield.
