Brazilian activist and environmentalist remembered for his work to safeguard the Amazon rainforest and its own indigenous people. He was assassinated with a rancher in Xapuri in Dec 1988. He started working being a silicone tapper at age group nine and didn’t figure out how to read until age group eighteen. The Chico Mendes Institute for Conservation of Biodiversity was founded in his storage. He was among eighteen kids, though just six survived past years as a child. He was portrayed by professional Raul Julia in the 1994 film The Burning up Season.
