Charlie Oliver

Second five-eighth participant who played his professional profession for Canterbury, and in addition played for New Zealand’s nationwide group. He was a specialist cricket participant before focusing exclusively on rugby. In 1935-36 he was a vice-captain of New Zealand’s nationwide group. His son-in-law, Dave Gillespie, also performed rugby for New Zealand’s nationwide team. He’s part of a summary of New Zealand captains which includes players such as for example Richie McCaw.
