Charles Polk

Federalist politician who served doubly Governor of Delaware, and in the Delaware General Set up. He studied Rules before buying the Blade and Fork Tavern in Delaware. He was produced Commissioner-Judge from the Delaware Supreme Courtroom in 1857. He was wedded to Mary Elizabeth Purnell, plus they had nine kids together. His faraway cousin was Leader Adam K. Polk.
