Charles McPherson

Alto saxophone participant known for his 1960s and early 1970s jazz collaborations with renowned increase bass participant Charles Mingus. Early in his musical profession, he documented albums entitled Bebop Revisited! and OUT OF THIS Minute On! He performed with such fellow jazz music artists as pianist Kenny Drew, trumpeter Artwork Farmer, and dual bassist Sam Jones. He was created in Missouri and elevated in Detroit, Michigan. He documented jazz saxophone parts originally performed by renowned musician Charlie Parker for the soundtrack from the 1988 film Parrot.
