First-class participant from 1919 to 1937, perhaps most obviously for taking part in for Kent from 1924 to 1937; between the best lower leg break and googly bowlers from the 1st fifty percent of the 20th hundred years. He started his profession with Lancashire, whom he used from 1919 to 1921. He became the very first one-test wonder to consider a minimum of seven wickets inside a check match. He was created and elevated in Heaton Moor, Stockport, not really definately not where he started his profession. He and Robert Important both became Kent legends.
