Charles Klauder

Known for his styles of university buildings and campuses, particularly for the very first educational skyscraper, the University or college of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning. He analyzed architecture in the Pa Museum’s College of Industrial Artwork. He began doing work for Theophilus Parsons Chandler, Jr., when he was 15. He was called main draughtsman at Day time & Sibling in 1900, by which he would ultimately form a collaboration with Frank Kilometers Day time. His campus function also included the University or college of Pa, Penn State University or college, Rhodes University in Memphis, the University or college of Colorado at Boulder, and Cornell University or college. His parents, Louis and Anna Koehler Klauder, had been German immigrants. He designed structures for Cornell University or college, where Gabrielle Giffords went to.
