Twentieth-century poet, artist, and editor most widely known for his association with Look at, a fresh York Surrealist publication. His poetry selections include The Backyard of Disorder, Rest inside a Nest of Flames, and Emblems of Arachne. He released his 1st literary journal, Blues, while still in his teenagers. Four years later on, he released a novel dealing with homosexual styles. Though his 1st magazine never managed to get past its 8th concern, his second publication, Look at, attracted interest and monetary support from designer Pablo Picasso and modernist poet e.e. cummings. He was created in Brookhaven, Mississippi. His sister, Ruth Ford, became an celebrity. He was the longtime partner of designer Pavel Tchelitchew. He was section of writer Gertrude Stein’s internal group, and he regularly published Stein’s functions in his mags.
