A seventeenth-century British article writer, translator, and poet, he’s most well-known for his focus on the first release from the Compleat Gamester (a research guide detailing the guidelines of popular video games). He also added to The Compleat Angler. He traveled to France before inheriting his father’s British estate at age twenty-eight. He possessed a angling cottage and released an instructional manual for the practice of travel fishing.
