Charles Conder

English-Australian painter whose most well-known functions included “Beneath the Southern Sun” and “ANY OCCASION at Mentone.” He was prominent in the Heidelberg College. He pursued a profession being a civil engineer before he used painting and was a property surveyor for the brand new South Wales federal government. He transferred to Melbourne, Australia, in 1888 and substituted intimate mementos to his landlady for lease money. However, he contracted syphilis, which eventually wiped out him. He became economically stable within the last many years of his lifestyle through his 1901 relationship to the rich widow Stella Maris Belford. His function was influenced with the artwork of Edgar Degas.
