Carol Shields

A 20th-century American fiction article writer, she is most widely known on her behalf Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Rock Diaries. Her additional works consist of Larry’s Party, Little Ceremonies, and Swann: A Secret. She graduated from both Hanover University (Indiana) as well as the College or university of Ottawa. Early in her profession, she released poetry choices entitled Others (1972) and Intersect (1974). She had written several functions for the stage, including Departures and Arrivals (1990) and Thirteen Hands (1993). She wedded Donald Hugh Shields in 1957. Her girl, Anne Giardini, also became a article writer. In 2001, she released a biography of Jane Austen.
