Carl Woese

Microbiologist well-known for defining and classifying the domain name referred to as the Archaea kingdom. He was also the originator from the RNA globe hypothesis, which proposes that self-replicating ribonucleic acidity (RNA) molecules had been precursors to current existence, in 1977. He received a Ph.D in biophysics from Yale University or college in 1953. He became a MacArthur Fellow in 1984 and he was asked to be always a person in the Country wide Academy of Sciences in 1988. He previously two children along with his wife Gabriella. Like Wayne Watson he analyzed genetic code.
