Carl Lee

Appreciated for his roles in such 1960s and ’70s motion pictures as The Landlord, Gordon’s Battle, and Superfly, Lee also made an appearance in episodes of the tv screen series MEMORIES, The Defenders, and Mannix. He started his screen performing profession with an uncredited appearance in the 1954 film Individual Desire. Tragically, he passed away in his past due fifties after overdosing on heroin. Delivered in NEW YORK as Carl Vincent Canegata, he was the kid of Juanita Waller and civil privileges activist, boxer, and professional Canada Lee (delivered Leonard Lionel Cornelius Canegata). He and Cicely Tyson had been both in the ensemble from the 1966 include a Man Known as Adam.
