German swimmer who won 3 gold medals on the 1980 Olympics in the 100 m butterfly, 4×100 m freestyle relay group, as well as the 4×100 m backstroke relay. She was raised in Greifswald, East Germany and started swimming at an extremely early age. She finished her short Olympic profession and became a instructor. She actually is the girl of Francis and Keida Metschuck. She earned her yellow metal medals on the 1980 Olympics when British runner Steve Ovett also got home gold.
