American businessman, rancher and politician who was simply the seventh Governor of Wyoming from 1905 to 1911. He was notably the initial Governor to take up the Wyoming Governor’s Mansion. He shifted to Big Muddy, Wyoming at age eighteen and started increasing livestock. He had written about his lifestyle in “Memoirs of Bryant B. Brooks: Cowboy, Trapper, Lumberman, Stockman, Oilman, Banker, and Governor of Wyoming”, that was released in 1939. He wedded Mary Naomi Brooks plus they had five kids. He and Mike Enzi both offered as governors of Wyoming.
