Biography

American stage actor and singer who performed in such Broadway musicals as Special Smell of Success, Following to Normal, Period Stands Even now, and Shrek the Musical. He graduated from Northwestern College or university in 1990 using a level in movie theater. For his name function in Shrek the Musical, he received both an Outer Critics Group Prize and a Dilemma Desk Prize. He was created in Saginaw, Michigan to Mary and Thomas Adam. He performed Debra Messing’s on-screen hubby on NBC’s Smash.

He added d'Arcy when he joined Actors Equity (there was already an actor named Brian James). For a while he was Brian d. James, but they wouldn't let that happen so instead of changing his name he used his full name.
