Important Russian pianist, harpsichordist, and pedagogue who helped bring the works of Arnold Schoenberg to Russia. He examined under Lev Oborin while participating in the Moscow Conservatory. He trained at Boston School, Brandeis School, Indiana University, as well as the Yale College of Music after he relocated to america in 1979. He was created in Moscow and was presented with permission with the Soviet Union in 1973 to visit Israel. He learned Sergei Prokofiev’s whole repertoire, documenting it for the Chandos label.
