Bobby Short

Cabaret singer known for interpreting Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Vernon Duke, Noel Coward, as well as the Gershwin brothers. He was uncovered at age group 11 and provided employment in vaudeville. He could generally be bought at the posh Carlyle Resort on Manhattan’s Top East Aspect, where he was the artist-in-residence for the better component of 40 years. His dad was a coal miner and his mom was a homemaker. His college classmate was Dick Truck Dyke. He sang the theme tune for the 1972 film Savages, that was directed by Adam Ivory.
