Bob Woodruff

American journalist and one-time anchor of ABC World Information. He narrowly escaped loss of life in 2006, when he was wounded by an explosive gadget while on project in Iraq. He proved helpful as an attorney in Beijing before finding his interest for journalism. He released a 2007 memoir entitled Immediately: A Family’s Trip of Like and Curing. He was raised in Michigan and went to both Colgate College or university and the College or university of Michigan. He wedded Lee McConaughy. He changed Peter Jennings as co-anchor of ABC Globe News.
