Betty Boothroyd

Well known as the initial female Speaker from the United Kingdom’s Home of Commons, Boothroyd served the Western Bromwich Western constituency as an associate of Parliament from 1974 until 2000 and was also appointed Second Deputy Chairman of Methods.
