Biography

American film actress who wedded Cary Offer and appeared in the 1948 film Every Female OUGHT TO BE Married. She gained her first helping function in the film Every Female Should Be Wedded. She quit performing in 1965 to spotlight writing and various other passions. She was wedded to Cary Offer from 1949 to 1962. She distributed her encounters in the 2005 documentary Cary Offer: A Course Apart.

2In her 1962 divorce from Cary Grant, she received over $1 million in cash plus a percentage of the earnings from the 13 films he made during their marriage.
3She lost over $200,000 worth of jewelry as well as a book manuscript she was working on in the Andrea Doria accident in July 1956.
4Was a first-class passenger on the Andrea Doria along with Ruth Roman, and her son Dickie. Was saved from the ship after going onto the port side of the ship and finding that side's boats useless because of the severe list. She was later rescued from the sinking liner.
