Bertha Benz

German female widely remembered to be the wife of Karl Benz, who’s acknowledged with inventing the 1st contemporary automobile. In August 1888, she became the first person ever to effectively drive cross-country, producing the 66-mile travel from Mannheim to Pforzheim. She was created in Pforzheim and allowed her spouse to invent the auto by buying his workshop. During her popular cross-country trip, she fixed her personal brakes and along the way invented brake coating. She experienced sons called Richard and Eugen. Her spouse, Karl Benz, produced the first car to be driven by an interior combustion engine.
