Commissioner from the NFL from 1946 to 1959; known for generating up the industrial selling point of the group and helping raise the nation-wide reputation. He offered as head trainer within the NFL from 1936 to 1941, for the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers. He’s credited with applying the NFL Draft, which gained him a posthumous induction in to the Hall of Popularity in 1963. His parents had been John C. Bell and Fleurette de Benneville Meyers. He proceeded Elmer Layden as NFL Commissioner.
