Bernie Federko

NHL Hall of Popularity middle who became the 1st player in little league background to record 50 assists in 10 consecutive seasons. He started playing on his regional amateur hockey group and then became a member of the WHL. He set up constant 100+-point months, but needed to cope with 200+ months by Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. He was raised in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. He spent the final time of year of his profession playing behind the increasing star center Steve Yzerman for the Detroit Crimson Wings.
