Bernard Rands

Pulitzer Prize-winning British composer who was simply in charge of creating a few of the most memorable modern classical sounds from the 20th hundred years. He received his education on the School of Wales, Bangor, where he examined English Literature. Afterwards, he transferred to Germany to review Structure with Pierre Boulez. He gained the Pulitzer for Music in 1984 for his structure Canti del Exclusive, which debuted with the brand new York Philharmonic. He wedded Augusta Browse Thomas, a fellow composer. He and fellow composer George Crumb both gained Pulitzers for Music.
