American entrepreneur who founded the Kroger supermarket chain. The business began as THE FANTASTIC Western Tea Firm and was re-named the Kroger Grocery store and Baking Firm in the first 1900s. As a boy, he proved helpful in a medication shop and on an Ohio plantation. He and his supermarket chain were able to survive the 1929 CURRENCY MARKETS Crash, partially through his creation of his very own bank or investment company. He and his nine siblings had been born for an Ohio-based category of German immigrants. He and Chun Ruler foods founder Jeno Paulucci both controlled successful food businesses.
