Beatrice Martin

Better known with the stage name of “Coeur de pirate,” this France Canadian indie pop vocalist and songwriter was nominated for 2009 and 2012 Juno Honours on her behalf albums Couer de pirate and Blonde. She gained Felix Honours for the same two albums. She started playing the piano at age three and continued to wait the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal. She released her initial record in 2008. In 2011, she performed a pal Holly cover for a tv industrial for the Activia yogurt brand. She and her hubby, tattoo musician Alex Peyrat, welcomed their initial child, a little girl called Romy, in Sept of 2012. She and French vocalist Julien Doré performed a duet edition of Rihanna’s strike tune “Umbrella.”
