THE DADDY of Talk Radio; started like a DJ, but one sluggish evening began to talk in to the mike. His first are a disk jokey was at New York’s WMCA in 1945, and it had been there that he started talking with the target audience. He made an appearance in film and tv, as well, including “Spin That Splatter” from 1949 and “The Barry Grey Display” on NY WOR-TV. He was wedded to Nancy Kellog Grey. His loss of life brought many tributes, including from Larry Ruler who known as him one of is own biggest influences.
