Barbara Shearer

Pianist and pedagogue known on her behalf mastery of Romantic-era composers. She started her education at Carthage University and finished it at Wittenberg College or university, graduating using a bachelor’s level in music. She started teaching on the College or university of California, Berkeley, in 1978, where she continued to be for the others of her profession. She wed Allen Shearer in 1964, a composer, vocalist, and regular collaborator. She was especially competent in Robert Schumann’s music and was observed for the heat and clearness she taken to it.
