Actress who’s remembered on her behalf tasks in such western-themed movies while Only the Valiant and Dallas. She was maybe most famous on her behalf troubled personal existence, including multiple affairs, medication and alcohol misuse, and prostitution. She was created in Cloquet, Minnesota, to Norwegian immigrant parents, and she was raised mainly in Odessa, Tx. She began a profession in modeling in the middle 1940s. Her vibrant life influenced such books as L.A. Despair: A Panorama of Criminal offense and Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye: The Barbara Payton Tale. Her four relationships– to William Hodge, John Payton, Jr., acting professional Franchot Firmness, and George Provas — all quickly finished in divorce. She also became infamous on her behalf affair with acting professional Tom Neal. She co-starred with Wayne Cagney inside a 1950 film noir entitled Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.
