Worldbeat artist who’s known for his fusions of reggae and salsa as well as for his one “Even now.” He was motivated to learn electric guitar with the blind guitarist Mansour Seck. He’s most widely known for the albums Interest – Resources, Djam Leeli, and Firin’ in Fouta. He grew up within a fisherman’s family members in Podor, Senegal. He was selected to execute the tune “Craving for food” in Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for the 2002 film Dark Hawk Down.
