Avetik Isahakyan

Armenian poet, activist, and writer known for his articles over the Armenian Genocide as well as for his outstanding lyric poetry. His best-known functions include The Music of Haiduks, To my Motherland, Abu-Lala Mahari, and Our historians and Our Minstrels. He examined on the Kevorkian Seminary as well as the School of Leipzig and was imprisoned double — in 1896 and 1908 — for his politics activities.
