August Macke


German Expressionist designer known for his colorful scenery paintings; prominent within the Blue Rider group. A few of his functions included “Look at into a Street,” a watercolor from 1914, and “Rokoko,” an essential oil on canvas from 1912. He worked well like a stage and outfit designer in the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf while acquiring evening artwork classes with Fritz Helmut Ehmke and their studies at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. He collaborated with Paul Klee and Robert Delaunay. He was the only real child of creating service provider and amateur designer August Friedrich Hermann Macke. He wedded Elisabeth Gerhardt in 1909. He was a good friend of German painter an d printmaker Franz Marc.
