Arthur Szyk

Polish-born artist known for his historically and politically themed illustrations, caricatures, and paintings. His functions included “Statute of Kalisz” from 1932, “Washington and His Situations” from 1932, and “Times of the Polish-American Fraternity” from 1939. He initial created his political-artistic visual in post-World Battle I Poland and additional honed his design in France. He shown his group of miniatures of George Washington as well as the American Trend on the Library of Congress within the middle-1930s. He was created to Jewish parents in Lodz, Poland, that was then area of the Russian Empire. He and Peter Potential both became prominent Jewish performers.
