British politician who led the Country wide Union of Mineworkers for two decades, from 1982. First an associate from the Labour Party, he founded the Socialist Labour Party in 1996. He worked well like a coal miner for pretty much 2 decades and, at age seventeen, joined up with the Youthful Communist Little league in his indigenous Yorkshire. He was in charge of leading two pivotal miners’ attacks: one in 1937 and another in the middle-1980s. His relationship to Anne Harper finished in divorce in 2001. He was a solid opponent of the federal government of British Primary Minister Margaret Thatcher.
