Arnett Cobb

Jazz saxophonist referred to as “Crazy Man from the Tenor Sax,” whose last recording, Tenor Tribute, premiered in 1988. He became a member of the Larkin music group when he was still an adolescent. He documented his first recording, The Crazy Man from the Tenor Sax, in 1943. He resided only Tx until dying from a lifelong disease. He had written the music “HANGING AROUND” for Ella Fitzgerald.
