Ariana Kukors

American swimmer who received gold at this year’s 2009 Globe Aquatics Championships. There, she arranged a global record in the 200m specific relay event. She swam in the College or university of Washington but shifted to California following the university’s swim groups were disbanded because of budget slashes. She retired from going swimming in 2013 and started writing for the web site Positively Northwest. Her sister, Emily, swam competitively for Auburn College or university. Her additional sister, Mattie, swam for the College or university of Michigan and Az State College or university. She completed behind China’s Ye Shiwen in the 200m specific medley in the 2010 FINA Brief Course Globe Championships.
